How it works
Four parts of running a studio, connected so you enter things once.
Your booking page
Parents and students pick an open slot from your availability. Connect Google Calendar and your busy times are blocked out, so a lesson can't land on top of something else.
Get paid before you teach
Parents pay by card when they book, through your own Stripe account. For recurring lessons, the saved card is charged 24 hours before each lesson.
A video room for lessons
Students open the lesson link in a browser. No app, no account. Music mode keeps the full sound of the instrument instead of filtering it like a voice call.

Every lesson, remembered
Keep notes on each student and write a recap after every lesson. Cadence can draft the recap with AI from the student's recent lessons. You edit it and decide when it goes out.
AI drafts on Pro (80 a month) and Studio (unlimited).
Also included: email reminders, recurring lessons, make-up credits and Google Calendar sync. Text and WhatsApp reminders come with Pro.
Draft a recap after every lesson.
You approve before it sends. Cadence drafts what you covered, what to practice and what to focus on next, using the student's recent lessons. You edit it, then send it to the student or keep it as a private note.

Questions
Does Cadence take a cut of my lesson payments?
No. Parents pay through your own Stripe account and the money goes to you. Stripe's standard card fee (2.9% + 30¢ per charge) is the only cost on each payment.
Can I keep using Zoom?
On Free, yes: connect your Zoom account and Cadence adds a Zoom link to each online lesson. Pro and Studio use the video room built into Cadence instead, so students join from a browser without a Zoom account.
What is the video room?
A lesson room that opens from the lesson link in the reminder email. Students don't need an app or an account. Music mode is on by default so instruments aren't filtered like a voice call. Studio can also record lessons.
What do AI lesson recaps do?
When you open a lesson's recap, Cadence can draft it with Claude from the student's recent lessons: what you covered, what to practice and what to focus on next. You edit the draft, then save it or send it to the student. Nothing is sent without you. 80 drafts a month on Pro, unlimited on Studio.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Free covers up to 5 students, your booking page, card payments and email reminders, with no time limit. New studios start with 14 days of Pro; when it ends you move to Free automatically and nothing is charged.
Cadence is new. What should I expect?
We're working closely with a small group of teachers. Bug reports and requests go straight to the people building it, not a support queue.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Cancelling a paid plan moves you to Free, and your students, lessons and notes stay where they are. To delete your account and its data, email support@cadencestudio.io.
